Events up for bid include the World Taekwondo Championships and the World Taekwondo Team Championships. The 2020 marathon trials will determine the top three men and top three women who will earn the right to compete for the United States in the running discipline at the Olympic Summer Games in Tokyo. The event must be held between January and March 2020 and will include 350 athletes and 300 athlete representatives. The 2016 event averaged more than 3.8 million viewers on NBC. The host site of this event will welcome up to 5,500 athletes along with 10,000 spectators from across the United States for a three-day multisport event consisting of USAT’s Olympic Distance and Sprint Distance Age Group National Championships (amateur athletes). The events will welcome participants from all 50 states. There is also an opportunity to add additional events depending on the venue. To maximize participation and based on the dates of ITU World Championships and Ironman Championship races, mid-late August is most desirable. The NBBA Beep Baseball World Series is held during the last week of July or first week of August each year. Round robin games begin on the Tuesday of the week, with the championship game being held on Saturday. A minimum of 160 rooms, with the majority being double-doubles are required. The NBBA will provide bases and 100 working beep baseballs (the remaining 100 beep baseballs are the host city’s responsibility). The tournament requires 12 acres of unobstructed level terrain with good grass covering and location of field properly marked in a reasonably quiet area. The NAIA Football Championship requires a stadium with a minimum seating capacity of 5,000 and a synthetic playing surface. The event attracts between 3,000 and 8,000 fans and will be held on one of the following dates in 2019—November 23, 30, December 7, 21—and in 2020—November 21, 28, December 5, 19.
